This is a Medical First Responser (MFR), also knwon as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Held in Cadillac Michigan. Both the National Registry of EMTs and the State of Michigan recognize the Medical First Responder (MFR) as an important part of the prehospital care system. Often, MFRs, operating through their local fire and rescue departments, are the first providers on scene of an emergency involving a serious medical patient or a patient who has suffered a traumatic injury. The early care provided by MFRs can be essential in saving lives or in limiting the degree to which such an event affects the patient’s life.
